Covers Illinois-specific laws around harassment, including the IHRA, reporting to the IDHR, and pregnancy and gender expression protections.

Bystander Intervention

An in-depth exploration of bystander intervention and how it can be utilized to prevent sexual harassment, bullying, and other negative behaviors.

Understanding Hierarchy (managers only)

This manager-focused module explores the nuances of workplace hierarchies and provides tools for effective mentorship and equitable feedback.

Supportive Workplaces (managers only)

By outlining how identity plays a role at work, this module provides tips for addressing bias and what allyship in the workplace can look like.

Why is harassment prevention training in Illinois important?

In an effort to create harassment-free workplaces, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed the Workplace Transparency Act, which amended the Illinois Human Rights Act, on August 9, 2019. The Act, which went into effect in 2020, requires all employers in Illinois provide annual sexual harassment training to all employees.
