Why is ADA training important?

The goal of the ADA is two-fold: (1) it ensures individuals with disabilities can compete for jobs on equal footing with their non-disabled peers; and (2) that employers provide reasonable accommodation for their disabilities. This law helps allow individuals with disabilities to participate in the workforce without fear of discrimination or marginalization. The ADA also mandates that individuals with disabilities receive the same pay, benefits, and other workplace opportunities as their non-disabled peers.
