Course Summary

Parenting is a full-time job, and on top of this, many parents have full-time jobs. Parents face unique challenges in the workplace, some of which can prevent them from doing their best work, or even worse, violate the law.

This mini-course explains the legal protections surrounding parental discrimination in the workplace, shares some common experiences of parents at work, and highlights how bias may impact working mothers in particular.
