This mini course zeroes in on workplace bullying: what it looks like, how employees and leaders can discourage and even stop it, and emerging legislation on the topic.

Why is workplace bullying prevention important?

Workplace bullying prevention is critical because it helps maintain a safe and respectful environment. Bullying creates an atmosphere of fear and mistrust, which can cause employees to become less engaged — and less productive. It can also lead to increased stress and absenteeism along with decreased morale, which are top drivers of decreased job satisfaction. We recommend organizations take proactive steps to prevent bullying and commit to building a culture of respect and inclusion.
